We put incredibly high standards on sourcing and production for Canadian and Western companies and then we allow companies with low or unknown human rights standards to undercut them? This seems like short term naive thinking to me.

Crushing its own citizens with tanks during 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, preparing to invade peaceful democracy Taiwan, the kidnapping to the 2 Michaels, genocide of Tibetans, genocide of Uyghurs, repeated interference in Canadian elections, Chinese police stations in Canada, attacking Canadian society by fuelling the fentanyl overdose crisis, busing in Chinese students to vote for Han Dong, undermining Canada’s immigration system using Triad gangsters, multi-billion dollar money laundering using Canadian casinos, real estate, and luxury vehicle markets, and the list goes on. Why any decent Canadian would want to support the CCP by buying Chinese motorcycles to save a few bucks when multiple other options are available is beyond me.

We even had Paris (ON) to Dacre (ON) back in the day. I don’t know if it truly qualified as a rally riad but it was a whole lot of fun.

Rally raid is a specific type of rally racing that most of us know through the Dakar, but there are a lot of other similar events. Sonora Rally, Africa ECO Race. They’ve been doing this since the 1970s, so no worries, there are no “New Age” hipsters involved.

What the hell does “rally raid” mean relating to motorcycles ? Is it some form
of ” New Age” hipster moto-jargon ? Seriously,though if North Americans never
took to S. Korean badged Suzukis of good build quality I can’t see declining sales
to riders being even slightly successful for a Chinese variant.
