That’s a good option, and if you can make it to Europe twice a year, or once a year on a long trip, well worth it. If I had a place to store a bike cheaply, I’d consider a little GS500 over there.

Instead, I bought a motorcycle in Europe (a V100) and go over 2x a year to ride new roads/countries. Extends the riding season here nicely, plus I’m off later this month to see the next MotoGP. I did the math, it’s a much better option in the long term.
